We are proudly and currently under contract to investigate dozens of Nursing Home cases for the nationally recognized law firm of Beasley, Allen, Crow, Methvin, Portis and Miles, throughout Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi and abroad.  Additionally, we have worked their Nursing Home cases exclusively, since early 2001, resulting in numerous settlements or plaintiff verdicts, one of which alone resulted in a $7 million verdict in Alabama, and a record breaking settlement in Georgia. 

Beasley Allen has nearly 300 staff members and attorneys, including an in-house medical doctor, full time nurses, computer specialists, a public relations department, a comprehensive graphic design department, and a team of highly skilled investigators to conduct all of their investigations, with the exception of nursing home cases.

Prior to the forming of Dumas Medical Investigations, Joey Dumas was a Regional Manager/Investigator.  Joey investigated Nursing Home cases for the law firm of Wilkes and McHugh and managed cases and investigators in the states of Texas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, and  Florida.  Wilkes and McHugh is nationally recognized in the area of Nursing Home litigation and devotes most of their practice to this area.  The firm is based in Tampa, Florida, and has offices throughout the United States. Within the firm, Joey worked cases for the following attorneys:  Jerry Taylor (now with Beasley Allen), Ramsey Simon, Jim McHugh, Jim Freeman, Scott Gwartney, Ken Conner, Brian Thompson, Bennie Lazzara, Jr. and Mary Perry.
